Manual Machinist

  • Mastery of manual lathe and mill work
  • Experience with large parts and tight tolerances
  • Ability to hold total indicated runout (TIR) and straighten shafts to within 0.001” TIR
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T, and close tolerances
  • Self-motivated team player, enjoys being busy, can prioritize jobs effectively
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, constructive attitude

CNC Machinist

  • Responsible for complete setups and editing/programing CNC programs
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming language
  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T, and close tolerances
  • Self-motivated team player, enjoys being busy, can prioritize jobs effectively
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, constructive attitude
  • Knowledge of HAAS and Mazak controls is a plus
  • Experience with manual lathe, mill, and drill is a plus

Field Service Technician

  • Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Local travel to client sites 50% of the time.
  • Overnight travel within the United States 20% of the time.
  • The remaining 30% will be spent at Schold, collaborating with the mechanical assembly, welding, or machining departments.
