CURRENT VERSION

(VFD speed control)

1

Position tank inside of tub holder and secure heavy-duty chain into chain latch on the opposite side. Make sure there are no objects (like hands or clothing) between the tank and chain and depress the tub holder valve to energize the locking cylinder, thus tightening the chain around the tank.
*KEEP HANDS FREE FROM THE CHAIN AS IT TIGHTENS OR INJURY MAY OCCUR
*DO NOT STAND ON TUB HOLDER
*A MINIMUM OF 80 PSIG SHOULD BE USED AT ALL TIMES

2

Always check the chain tightness before turning the machine on.
*THE TUB MUST BE SECURED BEFORE MIXER IS TURNED ON. INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE OR TANK MAY OCCUR.

3

Lower the blade into the tank slowly, checking to confirm that the blade is centrally located in the vessel. Lower the blade to the bottom position of the machine.
*BLADE MUST BE CENTRALLY LOCATED IN VESSEL TO MIX EFFICIENTLY AND TO AVOID CONTACTING WALL OF VESSEL

4

Ensure safety switches on the tub holder, vertical rise, and emergency stops are connected and functioning properly.
*NEVER BYPASS THESE SAFETIES OR INJURY MAY OCCUR

*DO NOT OPERATE MACHINE WITHOUT GUARDS

5

Press the start button to begin mixing. Adjust the speed of the blade with the speed control dial. While mixing, ensure that the blade is entrely covered by product to avoid damage to the blade and shaft.

6

When finished mixing, press the stop button to stop the machine. It is good practice to lower the speed when finished mixing, but not necessary.

7

To clean the blade and shaft, ensure the machine is off and scrape off the excess product. You can then lower the blade and shaft into a tub of water, cleanser, or solvent and run the machine to wash leftover product off. If necessary, wipe the shaft and blade with a rag or abrasive cleaning pad.
*NEVER SCRAPE THE BLADE OR SHAFT WHILE THEY ARE ROTATING

*NEVER TURN THE HAND WHEEL WHILE THE MACHINE IS NOT RUNNING. THIS COULD CRUSH THE DRIVE BELT OR DESTROY OTHER HEAD COMPONENTRY OF THE MACHINE
