Schold 300 and 400 series mixers and dispersers are designed to handle a wide range of medium production applications common to the paint, ink, chemical, and coatings industries in batch sizes up to 300 gallons.

VLS 300 Series comes with a single variable speed sheave coupled to a speed reducer and a lead screw variable speed control at eye level for ease of operation.

VHS 300/400 machines include double variable speed sheaves and a long, single belt as standard equipment, plus a manual speed control located at eye level for ease or operation.

All Schold variable speed dispersers and mixers have the same high-efficiency dispersion mixing characteristics and construction that have been standard with Schold's higher horsepower dispersers for over 30 years.

VLS 300 Series - Variable Low Speed

• Layout - Side & Base
• Capacity - Tub sizes up to 44" in diameter and 44" high.
• Speed - Variable speed range from 70 to 210 and 115 to 345 RPM standard with hand-wheel control for variable speed.
• Size - Low overall height of 59 1/2" lowered and 102 1/2" raised, has dual torque rods, contour tub holders for tubs up to 44" in diameter with safety air tub lock. The agitator shaft can be securely locked at any elevation.
• Power - 5 to 10 HP variable speed explosion-proof or TEFC.
• Impeller - Schold's "Bow Tie" is the standard supplied with all slow-speed machines. Other types are available for specialized products.

VHS 300 Series - Variable High Speed

• Layout - Side & Base
• Capacity - Tank sizes up to 52" in diameter and 47" high.
• Speed - 600-3600 RPM with long, single belt, with double vari-drive sheaves. (6 to 1 speed ratio)
• Size - Low overall height of 60" lowered and 101" raised on 24" X 24" base with hydraulic lift, 280 degree swing bridge assembly, with positive locking at any elevation.
• Power - Available with 7 1/2 and 10 HP standard 1800 RPM motors with manual or air-operated variable speed controls. Explosion-proof motors, 3 phase, 60 cycle, 240/460 volts are standard. Other motor specifications can be furnished on request.
• Impeller - Schold's unique easy-change dispersion blade gives intense shearing action. (8" and 10" standard)
• Container Holder - Container holders with manual or safety air lock available where required.

VHS 400 Series - Variable High Speed

• Layout - Side & Base
• Capacity -Tank sizes up to 46" in diameter and 50" high.
• Speed -Variable speed range from 600 to 3600 RPM with standard 1800 RPM motor (6 to 1 speed ratio)
• Size -Low overall height of 69" lowered and 114" raised on 30" X 30" base with hydraulic lift, 280 degree swing bridge assembly, with positive locking at any elevation.
• Power -15 and 20 HP, 1800 RPM motors with manual variable speed controls. Explosion-proof motors, 3 phase, 60 cycle, 240/460 volts are standard. Other motor specifications can be furnished on request.
• Impeller - Schold's unique easy-change dispersion blade gives intense shearing action. (10" and 12" standard)
• Container Holder -Container holders with manual or safety air lock available where required.
